Why call the Bar "Scoops Pub"? This is George (Scoop) our Grandfather. In his glory days in North Dakota, Scoop was known for his side-arm pitching. Those who came to watch him play ball would say "He really knows how to scoop that ball across the plate!" So now you know why the bar is called Scoop's Pub. This picture was taken while Scoop was playing Minor League Baseball in Nebraska in the 1920's.
