Sometimes it might be the turning up of the sound system to hear the engines going thru the gears. Sometimes it's winning free drinks when certain things happen during the race. For example, the American Legion in North St. Paul during the 2009 NASCAR season had drawings for free drinks whenever there was a caution during the race (I will check to see if they have the same promotion this year...).
Update March 28, 2010: The new promotion for NASCAR racing on Sundays at the American Legion in North St. Paul is that it is Happy Hour all the time during the races on Sundays. So pick Happy Harvick and be there for Happy Hour and Be Happy!
