The Wilderness at Fortune Bay is an eighteen hole championship golf course designed by noted architect Jeffrey D. Brauer.
The course is scheduled to open to the public in the spring of 2004.

The course will measure approximately 7,140 yards from the back tees, and is laid out across the scenic and spectacular land around Fortune Bay.

There are four sets of tee boxes at each hole, providing options of challenge for beginner golfers to experienced professionals.
Many of the holes are located on a high granite ridge, with views to Lake Vermilion and the surrounding forest. One hole is located along the shores of Lake Vermilion.
There are also five ponds on the course, and six holes have water in play.
